Robert Mandell is the creator of Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders as well as his previous series, The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers. He directed the show and also wrote or co-wrote several episodes: "Jewel Quest, Part I" and "Part II", "Morgana", "The Fortune Jewel", "Lady of the Lake", and "The Last Dance". He was also heavily involved in the Jewel Riders-inspired Avalon: Web of Magic and currently leads the creation of its animated series adaptation.
